Running A-frames @9am - 12pm
With Holly Burchsted
A running A-frame should be fast and smooth for the dog to execute, without jarring the shoulders.
In this 3 hour workshop, we will discuss what a good running A-frame looks like, and teach the dogs how to have good, comfortable form while building muscle memory for the correct performance.
To get the most out of this workshop, your dog should be physically mature with growth plates closed.
Limit 6, $65/team
Fitness for Canine Athletes @1 - 5pm
With Lora Abbott, DVM, CCRT
Our agility dogs are athletes and we ask for a lot from them! Just like human athletes who practice foot work drills, stretching, and cardiovascular conditioning, so should your dog's fitness regimen! Come spend an afternoon with veterinarian and Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist Lora Abbott and learn how to help maximize your dog's potential and reduce the risk of injuries. Learn what proper canine warm up and cool downs are, what they look like, and why they are crucial to add to your training and trialing routines! This work shop will be split approximately 50/50 between lecture and working time with your dog/s.
Limit 10, $100/team
