SPECIAL NORTHEAST PREMIER CUP AWARDS
To be eligible for the Northeast Premier Cup Overall Placement Awards, dogs must be entered and run in all four rounds. The lowest cumulative score for all four rounds will determine the Winner in each height group, including Preferred. Podium placements and awards will be announced once scores are tallied at the completion of all four runs.
For Overall Cup Placements, dogs will be ranked each round based on time-plus-faults scoring, as follows:

• Faults will be scored as 5 points (missed contact, dropped bar, etc.).

• Time faults will earn 3 faults per full second over SCT.

• Eliminations (E) will be scored as SCT, plus 100 faults.

• Eliminations will be earned for the following:

  • Incurring three (3) faults (time faults exempt).

  • A wrong course (W).

  • Excusal (whistled off).

• Refusals/runouts (R) will be called for AKC Qualifying purposes but NOT scored for cup placement rankings (0 faults).
