The Agility Course Test (ACT) is an entry level agility event offered by the AKC and designed to introduce and welcome beginning dogs and their handlers to the sport of agility. There are two levels of ACT:
ACT 1 is designed to show beginning sequencing and performance skills.
ACT 2 requires an increased skill level with equipment as well as contact performance.
In addition to showing your dog's entry level skills, you will learn how to: fill in entry forms used by trial secretaries, check-in at the ring, enter/exiting the ring, as well as other information relevant to beginning your journey into agility competition.
Dogs must be 15 months old to enter, they are NOT required to be AKC registered at time of entry.
